The Missouri S&T Office of Electronic Communications:
- leads the campus wide effort to develop, provide and enhance a uniform web presence to internal and external audiences
- facilitate the publication and repurposing of marketing materials for the university in an electronic online format
- supports content authors in their efforts to make their own information available to their audience
- works toward adoption of a standard web development platform for our users by:
- Collaborating with Information Technology to determine the best technology solutions based on university needs and initiatives
- Working to ensure usability of the web platform for, and acceptance by, our clients
- Striving to match system functionality with existing skill sets of content developers within the university
- Providing support to content developers with questions regarding usability, content guidelines, web standards, and related issues
